Learning French
We offer language courses enabling our participants to acquire basic French language skills or to improve their level.
These include:
- Literacy modules for adults with little or no schooling in their country of origin.
- French as a foreign language modules for adults
- French as a foreign language modules for new arrivals going through the reception process.

The CSB offers French as a Foreign Language courses from beginner to intermediate level, during the day and in the evenings. These courses are aimed at people who attended school in their country of origin.
I am a newcomer and I want to learn French
French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses for newcomers
The CSB organises French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses for newcomers enrolled on a BAPA programme. We offer courses during the day or in the evening, at different frequencies (from 7 hours to 20 hours per week)
I want to improve my reading and writing skills
Literacy courses
The CSB offers people, immigrants or not, who cannot read or write the Latin alphabet the opportunity to acquire basic or improve their reading and writing skills.
